Worker succumbs to injuries in Jalavihar RO plant blast in Hyderabad
A worker injured in the Jalavihar RO water plant explosion on PVNR Marg, Hyderabad, died while receiving treatment. Two others remain hospitalised. Authorities suspect excessive pressure in the RO unit or compressor as the cause.

Hyderabad: A worker injured in the recent explosion at a Reverse Osmosis (RO) water supply plant in Jalavihar on PVNR Marg died while undergoing treatment on Thursday.
The victim, identified as Laxman, had been admitted to a private hospital in Somajiguda after suffering severe injuries in the blast. Two other workers – Appulu Naidu and Anji, continued to receive treatment for injuries at Gandhi Hospital.
The explosion, which occurred on Wednesday, is suspected to have been caused by excessive pressure in the RO unit or compressor.
The Lake Police have registered a case and are investigating possible technical faults and maintenance lapses.
