Workshop on dermatosurgery held at KIMS

Hyderabad: The field of dermatology is witnessing a growing emphasis on the subspecialty of dermatosurgery, and continuous skill enhancement is crucial to deliver better outcomes for patients, said Dr. Bollineni Bhaskar Rao, CMD, KIMS Hospitals, while speaking in a workshop on dermatosurgery, organized at KIMS Hospital campus, in collaboration with ACS(I) EC and Academy.

Dermatologists received hands-on training, particularly focusing on suturing techniques at the event with the theme “Evolving Dermatosurgery in Daily Practice: Precision, Passion, Excellence, and Progress.” Around 300 dermatologists from India and Nepal participated and used the opportunity to hone their surgical skills.


Dr. Konatham Rajyalakshmi, with guidance from Dr. Anchal Parthasarathi and Dr. A.S. Kumar, ACS(I) President Dr. T. Saleem and Honorary General Secretary Dr. Pradeep Kumari, TS IADVL, president Dr. V. Ramesh and Secretary Dr. Ramachander Darak and senior dermatologists were present.
