Warangal: Enlightening the students on various applications of Embedded Systems in industry and Vivado development tool for measuring the delay between nodes (Routers) in a network, Xilinks Validation Engineer Shaik Zubair Ahmed said they were many opportunities in the ‘embedded field’ as Embedded Hardware Engineers, Board Designer, Validation Engineer, Application Engineer, Product Development Engineer, and Marketing Executives.
The Electronics and Communication Engineering Association (ECEA) of the Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITS) organised an online workshop on “Embedded Systems Industrial Application” on Tuesday for the sue of the B Tech – Electronics Communication & Instrumentation (ECI) Engineering students.
According to Professor Dr B Rama Devi, the ECI students have plenty of core opportunities in the fields of Embedded System, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, data science, Signal processing, VLSI, and industrial automation. “ECE students have a very good placement record, during the academic year 2020-2021, total of 243 students from Dept. of ECE bagged in the top MNCs and core companies. 74 students have already secured jobs in top MNCs for AY 2021-2022 and expect more core placements in this current academic year,” she said and added that the B Tech.
ECI Students would be mastered in the design concepts of Embedded Systems, Wireless communication systems, VLSI, Signal Processing, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, data science, and industrial automation during the four-year course.
KITSW Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy said that the workshop mainly focused on the real opportunity for the benefit of the students to tackle complex problems and to find advanced solutions breeding new trends in electronics, communication and instrumentation engineering domains.
Faculty coordinators, Dr K Sowjanya and Dr R Prashanth, student coordinators, Sahit, Sai Krishna, Riju Sharma, Uday Kiran, Dean Student Affairs, Dr G Raghotham Reddy, faculty members including E Suresh, Muqeem, Ashok Agarwal and Associate Professor of Chemistry and PRO Dr D Prabhakara Chary were present.
