Workshop on “Mapping & GIS” is being organised by GeoMap Society in Hyderabad

This is a pre-cursor to the ‘GeoMap Quiz’ to be held at Hyderabad in November- December 2024 for school children of all age groups.

Hyderabad: GeoMap Society is organizing GEOTOP (Geo Teachers Orientation Programme) – a Workshop on “Mapping & GIS” for all Social Studies teachers of schools from 9 am to 1 p.m at the Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS) in Begumpet on September 28.

This is a pre-cursor to the ‘GeoMap Quiz’ to be held at Hyderabad in November- December 2024 for school children of all age groups.

There will be presentations by mapping professionals from Survey of India and NRSC.

There is no fee for participation but registration with details of school name and teacher’s name should be sent by email to ‘geomapsociety@gmail.com’ or on WhatsApp on 98490-47827.

Lunch will be provided to the participants after the workshop, according to a press release here on Wednesday.
