Worm in food: GHMC issues show cause notice to Taj Mahal Hotel
The GHMC said following a complaint regarding the appearance of a worm in Dal, an inspection was carried out at the establishment on Tuesday.
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has issued a show cause notice to the management of Taj Mahal Hotel, Abids Road, seeking an explanation on issues of sanitation and hygiene at the hotel premises.
In a press note issued here on Wednesday, the GHMC said following a complaint regarding the appearance of a worm in Dal, an inspection was carried out at the establishment on Tuesday.
The Food Safety Officials during the inspection noticed some defects with regard to maintenance of proper hygiene and sanitation, labelling of food articles and presence of cockroaches in storage area, the press note said.
