Yashoda Hospitals hosts national conference on Maternal Emergencies & Neonatal Care
Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, organised a two-day national conference on maternal emergencies and neonatal critical care. Over 1,000 healthcare professionals attended the event, which focused on real-life clinical decision-making and multidisciplinary coordination in emergency maternal and newborn care.

Hyderabad: To enhance awareness and clinical preparedness in managing maternal emergencies and neonatal critical care, Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, organised a two-day national medical conference and workshop titled ‘Maternal Emergencies & Neonatal Critical Care – Real Case, Real Decisions’.
The conference brought together more than 1,000 healthcare professionals, including leading obstetricians, neonatologists, critical care specialists, and other medical experts from across the region.
Dr G S Rao, Managing Director of Yashoda Hospitals, said, “Rapid decision-making and strong coordination between multiple medical specialties are crucial in managing maternal and neonatal emergencies. Through this conference, experts highlighted how clinical decisions based on real-life medical scenarios can play a vital role in saving the lives of both mothers and newborns.”
Dr Lokesh Lingappa, Senior Child & Adolescent Neurologist at Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, emphasised the importance of timely diagnosis and specialised care in neonatal neurological conditions.
Participants attending the conference were also awarded two TGMC credit points as part of their Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme.
