Yashoda hosts National ‘GYN ROBOCON’ conference on Robotic Gynecological Surgery
Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, hosted the national ‘GYN ROBOCON’ conference, bringing together experts in robotic gynecological surgery. The event featured live surgeries, keynote talks by global pioneers, panel discussions, and training sessions, fostering collaboration and innovation in women’s healthcare.
Hyderabad: The Obstetrics and Gynaecology department of Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City organised a one-day national conference ‘GYN ROBOCON’, featuring specialists from across the country on Sunday.
The conference served as a unique academic platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and demonstration of the latest advancements in robotic gynecological surgery.
The scientific programme included live surgical demonstrations showcasing the latest robotic techniques, keynote addresses by international pioneers, interactive multidisciplinary panel discussions and skill-enhancement sessions.
The conference featured Dr Peter C Lim, Medical Director, Robotic Surgery Center of Hope, Nevada, USA, Dr Mahendra Bhandari, CEO, Vattikuti Foundation.
The event was organised in association with the Obstetric and Gynaecological Society of Hyderabad (OGSH) under the leadership of Dr S Shantha Kumari, Treasurer, FIGO, Dr Jayanthi Reddy, president, OGSH and Dr Anitha Kunnaiah, Organising Chairperson.
The conference was supported by senior management including MD, Dr G S Rao, Director, Yashoda Groups of Hospitals, Dr Pavan Gorukanti, Director of Medical Services, Dr Lingaiah.
