Young trader electrocuted while setting up Rakhi stall in Medak

A 19-year-old trader, Kothala Naresh, died of electrocution while erecting a shed for Rakhi sales at Subhash Nagar in Medak town.

Medak: Rakhi festival throws up an opportunity for seasonal traders to sell Rakhis and earn some income during the festival time every year. However, a young trader met with a tragic death while erecting a shed along the street at Subhash Nagar in Medak town on Thursday.

The deceased Kothala Naresh (19) was installing a rod when he came in contact with a live overhead electric wire. Naresh died on the spot as he sustained serious burn injuries. A case was registered by the police.
