Youngster killed as bike, scooter collide in Mancherial
A 22-year-old man, Gurrala Prashant of Satyasainagar, died after his motorcycle collided with an oncoming scooter on the Nizamabad-Jagdalpur National Highway in Luxettipet on Saturday night. Police registered a case and launched an investigation into the accident
Mancherial: A 22-year-old man was killed when his two-wheeler dashed against a scooter on the Nizamabad-Jagdalpur National Highway in Luxettipet town on Saturday evening.
Police said Gurrala Prashant from Satyasainagar sustained critical injuries when his motorcycle hit an oncoming scooter on the national highway around 9 pm. He was immediately shifted to a hospital in Mancherial town. He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment later in the night. He was returning to Luxettipet from Mancherial at the time of the mishap.
Gurrala Ravinder, an uncle of Prashant, lodged a complaint with the police. A case was registered and investigations are on.
