Khammam: A youth from Mahabubabad has allegedly committed suicide in Khammam on Tuesday. The deceased person was identified as Mutyala Sagar (25) of Bayyaram in Mahabubabad district. His dead body with severed head was found on a railway track at a level crossing near Khammam railway station. He reportedly was depressed over remaining unemployed for the past three years and posted a message in his WhatsApp status in that connection. He was said to be taking coaching for a police recruitment test.
Meanwhile, a mild tension prevailed at Khammam Government District Hospital where the youth’s dead body was shifted for postmortem as leaders of different political parties staged protest demanding justice to the family of the deceased youth. CPI ML New Democracy leader P Ranga Rao, BJP leaders Galla Satyanarayana and K Sridhar Reddy and others were taken into custody by police. The local police booked a case based on the complaint of the youth’s parents.
