Sangareddy: A-17-year-old Yerukula Krishna, a native of Mamidipally village in Kandi Mandal, met a watery grave in Baran Cheruvu, a tank located on the outskirts of the village, on Sunday.

According to his father Sathyanarayana, Krishna along with his friends went for a swim in the tank. Krishna, who went deep inside the tank swimming, has found it tough to swim back to the shore. Though his friends alerted the elders, they could not save him. The body was fished out an hour later. Sangareddy Rural Police have registered a case.
