Kothagudem: A 20-year-old youth was stabbed to death in the Edurugadda area of Laxmidevipalli mandal in Kothagudem district late on Sunday night, triggering concern among locals over the law and order situation in the area.

According to local residents, the deceased, Medi Akhil, was killed during a clash involving a group of youths. Old rivalries among those involved were suspected to have led to the murder, though the exact motive is yet to be established.
