Four labourers, Borra Veerababu, Koram Parvathy, Chinta Sujatha and M Uma were seriously injured. They were shifted to Government General Hospital in Kothagudem.
The raids were conducted by Kinnersani FDO Babu along with FRO Srinivas Reddy, FSO Kranthi , FBOs Anusha, Sarada, Ramesh and Jagna, base camp watchers in Kranthi nagar, Gatumalla forest areas in the mandal.
The deceased B Motilal (24) of Bodagutta area in Kothagudem was hired by a tractor owner for alleged illegal transportation of sand. Over speeding was said to be the reason for the accident.
The deceased Nakirikanti Neeraj (27) and N Niharika (23) along with another woman were going to Kothagudem from Paloncha on a motorbike when the incident took place.
