Youth murdered in Jagtial
According to police, Erisetti Rajesh was attacked by opponents while he was proceeding towards his agricultural fields to water his crops.
Jagtial: A youth was hacked to death by opponents near Dharur of Jagtial rural mandal on Saturday night. Land dispute is said to be the motive for the murder.
According to police, Erisetti Rajesh was attacked by opponents while he was proceeding towards his agricultural fields to water his crops. Four persons, who laid a trap for him, attacked him with swords and knives, killing him on the spot.
Based on a complaint lodged by Rajesh’s father Venkanna, police registered a case and began investigation. A two wheeler vehicle and a sword were recovered from the spot. Venkanna alleged that four persons killed his son.
Jagtial rural CI Krishna Kumar visited the spot and enquired about the incident. Rajesh is survived by wife and two children. The body was shifted to Jagtial government hospital for postmortem.
