Sangareddy: The inmates of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) at Nyalkal took ill, with 14 of them, who were suffering from serious cough and throat infections, being rushed to the area hospital in Zaheerabad on Friday.
District Education Officer Venkateshwarlu and other officials inspected the school to examine the premises and find out the reasons for the spread of the diseases. The students were admitted to the hospital and were kept under observation. The doctors observed that the students were infected with viral fever, cough and throat infections. They said that it would take a few days to recover. Meanwhile, the DEO issued a memo to the special officer of the school.
