ZEE5 premieres “Maaman” in Telugu and Kannada
ZEE5 brings Tamil superhit Maaman to the Telugu and Kannada audience this Vinayaka Chavithi. Starring Soori and Aishwarya Lekshmi, the Prashanth Pandiyaraj directorial is a family drama exploring love, marriage, and responsibility.

Hyderabad: Streaming platform ZEE5 has announced the Telugu and Kannada premieres of the Tamil film Maaman on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi. The film, which originally released in Tamil on August 8, received a strong response from the audience.
Directed by Prashanth Pandiyaraj, Maaman stars Soori and Aishwarya Lekshmi in lead roles. The story follows Inba (Soori), who shares a close bond with his sister’s son Laddu. However, his marriage to Rekha (Aishwarya Lekshmi) begins to falter when Laddu’s presence disrupts their relationship, setting the stage for a family drama that explores love, responsibility, and reconciliation.
The film features Rajkiran, Swasika, Baba Bhaskar, Master Prageeth Sivan, and Bala Saravanan in supporting roles. Written by Soori with screenplay by Prashanth Pandiyaraj, the project has music by Hesham Abdul Wahab and is produced by K Kumar under Sri Kumaran Films.
With its festive-time launch on ZEE5, Maaman is now available to the audience across Telugu and Kannada regions in addition to its successful Tamil run.
