Vijayawada: With the coronavirus disease causing alarm in Andhra Pradesh, the Forest department has announced closing down of all zoological parks in the state to visitors.
In its orders issued here on Tuesday, the department said that along with zoo parks, eco tourism centres and temple eco parks could also be closed down.
It also directed that special measures be taken up for the healthcare of zoo animals.
