Container lorry with cars catches fire on NH-65 at Zaheerabad

Sanagreddy: A container lorry that was ferrying cars from Mumbai to Hyderabad caught fire on the NH-65 at Zaheerabad on Sunday evening.
Eight cars on the lorry were gutted completely by the time a fire tender rushed to the spot and doused the fire. Meanwhile, the container driver sustained serious injuries in the incident.
He was rushed to the government hospital in Sangareddy.
The Zaheerabad police registered a case. The reason for the fire was not yet ascertained. The container was carrying eight Tata Nexon cars, with the total loss estimated to be around R 1.2 crore, according to the police.
