Man, father-in-law drown in Mallanna Sagar canal in Siddipet

The duo went fishing and met a watery grave in the canal. The bodies were retrieved from the canal and shifted to the government hospital in Siddipet for postmortem

Siddipet: In a tragic incident, a man and his father-in-law, who went fishing in the Mallanna Sagar canal at Tipparam in Kukunurpally mandal, drowned in the canal on Saturday.

They were Godugu Shiva Kumar (30), a resident of Kukunurpally, and his father-in-law Kistaiah (55), a resident of Yelkanti in Raipole mandal. Kistaiah had come to Kumar’s house on Friday.


The duo went fishing and met a watery grave in the canal. The bodies were retrieved from the canal and shifted to the government hospital in Siddipet for postmortem.
