Medak: A moving car caught fire on Medak-Hyderabad road at Railapur in Kowdipally Mandal of Medak district on Tuesday evening.

Srinivas was proceeding to Hyderabad when he saw smoke emanating from his car engine. Within seconds, the fire spread all over the car.  Terrified by the development, he tried to stop the car but found it difficult to control the steering. The car turned turtle. Srinivas, however, escaped from the car with minor injuries. The car was almost gutted by the time a fire tender reached the spot.
