Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified woman was found in a lake at Dammaiguda in Jawaharnagar on Monday.

The local residents noticed the body floating on the surface and alerted the police, who reached the spot and retrieved it with the help of swimmers. The Jawaharnagar police are investigating if she died by suicide or it was an accident.

The body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital morgue. Efforts are on to identify the woman.
