128 kg of ganja seized in Sangareddy, four arrested in major drug bust
In a significant crackdown, Sangareddy Police, in coordination with the SOT, seized 128 kg of dry ganja being smuggled from Odisha to Maharashtra. The bust took place at Pati Junction, four peddlers were arrested, and two vehicles were seized.

Sangareddy: Sangareddy Police seized 128 kg of dry ganja being transported in two cars by a gang at Pati Crossroads, under BDL-Bhanur police station limits, on Sunday morning. Four peddlers were arrested and two vehicles were seized.
BDL-Bhanur police along with S-NAB Sangareddy, led by Inspectors Vijay Krishna and Nageshwar Rao, intercepted the vehicles at Pati Junction and apprehended the accused.
Superintendent of Police Paritosh Pankaj said during the inquiry that the accused were transporting ganja from Odisha to Maharashtra. The arrested were identified as Feroz Ahmed, Sagar Nayak, Mehaboob Abdul Ahmed and Mohammad Irfan.
The SP said the accused would be produced before the court. He warned that police would act tough against those involved in smuggling ganja and other narcotics. Urging public support, he appealed to citizens to alert S-NAB by calling 8712656777, assuring that whistle-blowers’ identities would be kept confidential.
