Excise team attacked during anti-drug operation in Hyderabad’s Jeedimetla
A Prohibition and Excise Department team was attacked in Hyderabad’s Jeedimetla while acting on a tip-off about hashish oil sales. The team, led by Inspector Ch. Kotamma, was obstructed and assaulted by a group including several named individuals.

Hyderabad: A group of people attacked a team from the Prohibition and Excise department at Jeedimetla when they went to apprehend drug peddlers on Saturday night.
According to the police, a team from the Prohibition and Excise department, headed by Inspector Ch Kotamma, went to Ayodhyanagar in Jeedimetla based on information about the sale of hashish oil.
When the Inspector and his team were questioning some suspects, a group of people including Hemanth, Nithish, Raviteja, Charan and others obstructed the prohibition and excise officials and used force against them.
Following a complaint, the Jeedimetla police have registered a case and are investigating.
