13-year-old boy hangs self in Hyderabad
According to the police, the deceased, Manikanth (13), a Class eight student, was living with his parents at Sangeetnagar in the Kukatpally police station limits.
Hyderabad: A teenager allegedly hanged himself to death at his house on Saturday afternoon. According to the police, Manikanth (13), a Class eight student, was living with his parents at Sangeetnagar in the Kukatpally police station limits.
On Saturday morning, his parents went out after which the teenager allegedly hanged himself to the ceiling fan using a scarf.
The police have registered a case and are investigating. Meanwhile, with reports that the boy was playing a mobile game like PUBG and had died because of that, the police checked his mobile phone and said there were no such games on it and that the suicide was not due to any game.
“His parents have also denied that he was addicted to any video game. We are trying to ascertain the actual reason behind him ending his life,” T Narsing Rao, SHO (Kukatpally) said.
