Hyderabad: A total of 142 students of Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TTWREIS) have secured seats during the first phase of counselling conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Sixty-five students have secured admission in the premier IITs and 52 have made it to the NITs.
Apart from this, 10 students bagged seats in Central Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs) while 15 were accepted in IIITs.
D Ronald Rose, Secretary, TTWREIS, Dr E Naveen Nicholas, Additional Secretary and other Gurukulam officials congratulated the students and expressed that the Society will continue to support the students in every possible way.
