15 passengers injured as bus overturns in Suryapet

The bus belonging to Sri Krishna Travels was proceeding to Kakinada from Hyderabad when it met with the accident

Suryapet: At least 15 passengers were injured when a private travels bus overturned after hitting a culvert at Akupamula of Munagala mandal in Suryapet district on Wednesday.

The bus belonging to Sri Krishna Travels was proceeding to Kakinada from Hyderabad when it met with the accident. According to the police, 33 persons were travelling on the bus and at least 15 of them were injured. It is suspected that negligent driving was the cause of the incident. The injured were shifted to the government hospital in Kodad by ambulances and no one was seriously injured.

On Tuesday, three persons died and 10 passengers suffered injuries when a bus belonging to the same travels met with an accident at Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district. In both cases, negligent driving was the cause for the accidents.
