160 detonators seized near Bollaram army camp
Police seized 160 commercial electric detonators abandoned near the Madras Regiment Army Camp in Bollaram, Hyderabad. The Bomb Disposal team secured the explosives, and police launched an investigation into their source and motive.

Hyderabad: The police seized around 160 electric detonators allegedly abandoned by unidentified persons near the Madras Regiment Army Camp at Bollaram raising fresh concerns.
Army personnel noticed a suspicious light-green plastic bucket near the rear wall of the firing range on Wednesday and alerted the Bollaram police. On inspection, police found 160 electric detonators packed in eight bundles.
A bomb disposal (BD) team from Malkajgiri, along with a sniffer dog, examined the spot and identified the material as 33A-size commercial electric detonators. Following the BD team’s directions, the detonators were secured at a safe location.
The Bollaram police have registered a case against unidentified persons who left the detonators at the spot and launched an investigation to determine their source and the reason for abandoning them near the Army camp.
