SP Rohith Raju lauds bomb squad for neutralising Maoist IEDs
Superintendent of Police B Rohith Raju felicitated the district bomb disposal team in Kothagudem for their role in joint search operations with security forces. The team successfully neutralised 10 Maoist-planted IEDs, preventing potential attacks.
Kothagudem: Superintendent of Police B Rohith Raju felicitated members of the district bomb disposal team for their duties during joint search operations conducted alongside security forces, which resulted in the seizure of Maoist dumps and weapons.
He commended the team for their highly skillful and tactful neutralisation of 10 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) planted by Maoists to target security forces. The presence of mind and valour demonstrated by the personnel under critical circumstances was a matter of great pride, he said.
The SP presented certificates of appreciation and rewards to 12 members of the bomb disposal team. RI (Operations) Ravi and others were present.
