19-year-old engineering student sexually assaulted at Ibrahimpatnam

According to ACP Ibrahimpatnam, KPV Raju, a person, who works as a driver, came to the room of the woman and sexually assaulted her after threatening the victim

Hyderabad: An engineering student was sexually assaulted at a private hostel in Ibrahimpatnam late on Wednesday.

The woman, aged around 19, was pursuing an engineering course at a private college in Ibrahimpatnam and was staying at a hostel in Adibatla.

On Wednesday night, a person, who works as a driver, came to the room of the woman and sexually assaulted her after threatening the victim, said ACP Ibrahimpatnam, KPV Raju.

The victim approached the police on Dial 100, and a team rushed to the hostel. The woman was shifted to a hospital for medical assistance. The police registered a case and are investigating. The suspect is absconding.
