36 Visakhapatnam athletes selected for South Zone Junior National Athletics Championships

Thirty-six athletes from Visakhapatnam district have been selected to represent Andhra Pradesh at the 36th South Zone Junior National Athletics Championships in Puducherry on September 16. Athletics officials congratulated the selected athletes and wished them success at the championships

Hyderabad: The Visakhapatnam District Athletics Association has informed that 36 athletes from the district have been selected to represent Andhra Pradesh at the 36th South Zone Junior National Athletics Championships to be held in Puducherry on September 16.

Mr Ganababu, MLA and Government Whip, VAA president Nageswara Rao, secretary M Narayana Rao and other officials congratulated the athletes and wished them success in the championships.

Junior Men (U-20):
P Mahidhar Sai — 400m; P Jaswanth Yadav — discus throw.

Junior Women (U-20):

Youth Boys (U-18):
D Seshu — 100m and 200m; R Shashank.

Youth Girls (U-18):
