41 Maoist cadres surrender; Rs 1.46 crore reward to be disbursed

Telangana DGP B Shivadhar Reddy announced that Rs 1.46 crore, the eligible reward amount carried on the heads of 41 surrendered Maoist cadres, will be disbursed shortly under the State and Centre’s rehabilitation policy. Interim relief of Rs 25,000 each has already been given, with further benefits to follow.

Hyderabad: DGP B Shivadhar Reddy said a total of Rs 1.46 crore, the eligible reward amount carried on the heads of the 41 underground Maoist cadres who surrendered, will be disbursed to them at the earliest.

As part of the state and centre’s relief and rehabilitation policy, the money will be handed through Demand Drafts or Cheques after completion of documentation and opening of bank accounts.

Meanwhile, an interim relief of Rs 25,000 each was given to all the surrendered cadres on Friday. Additional benefits will be extended as per the State’s rehabilitation and reintegration policy.

The DGP assured that all entitled benefits will be provided promptly, enabling the surrendered cadres to rebuild their lives.

The underground CPI (Maoist) cadres surrendered before Telangana Police include People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PGLA) Battalion (11 Cadres) – M Manga, CYPCM/DVCM, Commander, T Ganga, PPCM/ACM, Commander, K Sukki, O Joga, K Deva, K Gangi, P Jyothi, M Jogi, M Sony, D Rame and P Sumbadi Samitha.

The Komaram Bheem Asifabad – Mancherial Divisional Committee, Telangana Committee (2 cadres) include E Ravi, DVCM Secretary and K Prabhanjan while the

The 2nd Central Regional Command Company of Telangana Committee (5 cadres) include K Lachu, CyPCM/DCM, Commander, V Mangi, M Somda, S Sukki, P Sukki.

Those surrendered from Cherla-Shabari Area Committee, Bhadradri-Kothagudem – Alluri Seetha Rama Raju DVC of Telangana Committee are H Budri, ACM, Commander, M Mangu, P Sammaiah Mahesh and V Linga while those from Platoon -33 of South Sub Zonal Bureau, Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee include O Mangu, DVCM and Platoon Commander, K Sudru, M Adumalu, M Deva and M Adume.

Those from South Bastar DVC of Dadakaranya Special Zonal Committee are M Joga, DVCM, P Soni, M Jogi, T Moti, M Bheeme, M Deve, P Hidume, U Deve and U Masi while from the Darbha DVC of Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee include M Joga, ACM, M Ure, K Budra and M Sanni.
