591 new Covid infections and two fatalities reported in Telangana

591 new Covid infections and two fatalities reported in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 591 new Covid infections and two fatalities on Monday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,807 and the total number of positive cases to 6,45, 997. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Monday, was 8,819.

On Monday, authorities conducted 1, 07, 472 Covid tests of which results of 1,154 samples were awaited. A total of 643 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98 per cent on Monday. So far, a total of 2,21,97,450 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,45,997 have tested positive and 6,33,371 persons have recovered.


The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included two from Adilabad,14 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 68 from areas under GHMC, 31 from Jagitial, 11 from Jangaon, four from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, three from Jogulamba Gadwal, four from Kamareddy, 75 from Karimnagar, 58 from Khammam, three from Kumram Bheem Asifabad, five from Mahabubnagar, 12 from Mahabubabad, 21 from Mancherial, three from Medak, 30 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, seven from Mulugu, five from Nagarkurnool, 31 from Nalgonda, three from Narayanpet, two from Nirmal, five from Nizamabad, 32 from Peddapalli, 21 from Rajanna Sircilla, 20 from Rangareddy, five from Sangareddy, 12 from Siddipet, 23 from Suryapet, two from Vikarabad, five from Wanaparthy, 12 from Warangal Rural, 51 from Warangal Urban and 11 from Yadadri Bhongir.
