68-km run marks 68th birthday of KCR

68-km run marks 68th birthday of KCR

Hyderabad: Ultra marathon runner Jaganmohan Reddy ran 68 km to mark the 68th birthday of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, on Thursday.

Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) chairman Allipuram Venkateswar Reddy flagged off the run from Chintamadaka. The run concluded at the Sports Hub Stadium Ground in Gajwel.


Former national footballer Venkat Reddy, athletes from Telangana Athletic Association Hyderabad and Siddipet took part in the run.

The run started from Chintamadaka at 4 am and ended in Gajwel by 10 am completing a 68-km distance via Siddipet, Thoguta, Rampur, Chandapur, Kollur, Gajwel Entry and Chegunta Crossroad.

Finance Minister T Harish Rao felicitated Jaganmohan Reddy at the closing ceremony.
