925 new Covid cases, three deaths registered in Telangana
A total of 1,367 persons recovered on Friday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,49,157 with a recovery rate of 94.86 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 925 new Covid-19 infections and four fatalities on Friday taking the overall toll to 1,426 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,62,653. As on Friday, there were 12,070 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 1,367 persons recovered on Friday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,49,157 with a recovery rate of 94.86 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 93.6 per cent.
Between Thursday and Friday, 42,077 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 438 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 50,92,689 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,62,653 have tested positive and 2,49,157 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included ten from Adilabad, 43 from Bhadradri, 161 from areas under GHMC, 39 from Jagtiyal, 19 from Jangaon, 15 from Bhupalpally, 11 from Gadwal, 12 from Kamareddy, 52 from Karimnagar, 42 from Khammam, eight from Asifabad, 12 from Mahabubnagar, nine from Mahabubabad, 26 from Mancherial, five from Medak, 91 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 18 from Mulugu, 12 from Nagarkurnool, 46 from Nalgonda, 12 from Nirmal, 11 from Nizamabad, 23 from Pedapalli, 25 from Siricilla, 75 from Rangareddy, 17 from Sangareddy, 13 from Siddipet, 23 from Suryapet, 14 from Vikarabad, ten from Wanaparthy, 11 from Warangal Rural and 46 from Warangal Urban and 14 from Bhongir.
