Delhi Public School, Nacharam observed the National Education Day with much revere and solemnity. Under the visionary leadership of chairman, M Komaraiah and director, P Komraiah, and the able guidance of principal, Sunitha Rao, the school has accomplished excellence in scholastic and co-scholastic areas, achieving rank No 1 in parameters of co-curricular activity, being the top CBSE schools of Hyderabad for the Best Inclusive Education, successfully reaccredited with the British Council International School Award (ISA), successfully reaccredited with the British Council International School Award (ISA), International Standard Organisation (ISO), International Accreditation Organisation (IAO), USA and significantly more to raise the standards of education.
The secondary school conducted the assembly digitally for all students of class X. The event began with the customary lighting of the lamp, followed by the address of principal and vice-principal, Surekha Nayani, who with their views inspired students and apprised the importance of educating the future citizens of India on the occasion of National Education Day.
A Google survey was projected showcasing the future aspirations of the students of class X. This was followed by the recital of a beautiful poem, a radio jockey, and a skit emphasising the importance of education and NEP 2020. The programme also threw light on the various schemes initiated by the Government of India to enhance the literacy rate and the quality of education.
The research of students on literacy rate and various aspects related to National Education Day was also projected. The programme also focused on renowned educational institutes in India related to different fields and the good techniques that can be adopted from the international institutions to improvise the educational system in India. The programme concluded with a presentation of the memorable achievements of the alumni of DPS, Nacharam, which encouraged the gathering to perform to the best of their potential.
