Abducted CRPF commando released by Naxals
Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh expressed his happiness over the release of commando and said it was a huge relief for his family as well as the entire Jammu region.

Hyderabad: CPI (Maoist) on Thursday released the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) commando Rakeshwar Singh Manhas, who was in their custody since the encounter with security personnel on April 3 near Sukma-Bijapur border.
Maoists released Singh, a native of Jammu, in Terram area of Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district. He reached the battalion camp late evening in Terram. Singh was released in the presence of senior mediapersons and local villagers.
Photos of Singh taken with villagers after his release were widely shared on various social media platforms. Earlier, the Maoists party released the photo of Singh informing that he was in its custody after the encounter.
Singh’s wife Meenu also requested the government to take necessary steps for the release of her husband.
A total of 24 security personnel died while 31 others were injured in the encounter, Four Maoists also lost lives in the incident.
