Nalgonda: Officers of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday conducted a raid on a Transco office at Miryalaguda and arrested Deputy Executive Engineer (Operations) Y Muralidhar Reddy, Junior Accounts Officer Dintha Damodar and Upper Division Clerk Md Latheef in a bribe case.

According an ACB press note, Dontha Damodar was caught red handed while accepting Rs 2 lakh bribe from a lineman Guntur Srinivas to regularize his leaves and sanction increments from the year 2004. They demanded that the lineman pay Rs 2.5 lakh for regularisation of his leaves. The lineman approached ACB and a trap was laid in which the Damodar was caught while accepting Rs 2 lakh bribe. The tainted money was recovered from his possession.
