Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday conducted searches at properties linked to Vamsi Mohan, following allegations that the Medchal deputy collector amassed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
ACB teams simultaneously searched eight locations across Medchal and Ranga Reddy districts.
During the investigation, officials reportedly identified nearly eight acres of land in Abdullapurmet and Piglipur that were allegedly registered in the name of the deputy collector’s father-in-law and later handed over to a realtor for development.
ACB officials also found that the realtor allegedly transferred 10 plots to the deputy collector through gift deeds.
Further investigation into the assets, financial dealings and linked properties is on.
