ACB raids Telangana DSP’s properties in disproportionate assets case
The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted simultaneous searches at the residence of DSP S. Bheem Reddy and around 20 linked locations in a disproportionate assets case. Officials are assessing the value of the movable and immovable properties recovered during the ongoing investigation.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday conducted simultaneous searches at the residence of Deputy Superintendent of Police, S. Bheem Reddy and around 20 other locations in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
The raids were carried out under the supervision of ACB DSP Majid Ali Khan as part of an investigation into allegations that the officer had amassed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to officials, searches were conducted at Bheem Reddy’s residence in Hyderabad and several other properties linked to him. During the raids, officials reportedly identified substantial movable and immovable assets.
Sources said the officer was residing in a luxury villa estimated to be worth around Rs. 8 crore. Officials are continuing to assess the total value of the assets and verify relevant financial records.
