Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials seized 21 live rounds, 69 empty cartridges and a cartridge stand during searches conducted at the house of Suryapet Sub-Division Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) K Parthasarathi, who was arrested in connection with a graft case on Monday.
The ACB teams, while following up on the case after the arrest of the DSP, conducted searches at the house of the DSP in Dattatreya Nagar at Hayathnagar on Tuesday. The DSP and Suryapet Town Inspector, P Veera Raghavulu, were caught by the ACB on Monday when they demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 16 lakh from a man for showing official favour in a case.
During the searches, the ACB officials found 21 live rounds, 69 empty cartridges and one cartridge stand in DSP’s house. The ACB Inspector made a complaint at the Hayathnagar police station about the find. The Hayathnagar police registered a case and started an investigation.
