Karimnagar: Sleuths of Anti Corruption Bureau trapped Executive Engineer, Karimnagar Municipal Corporation, PV Raman, while accepting Rs 17,000 bribe from a contractor at his chamber in the Corporation office here on Tuesday.

According to ACB police, Raman demanded Rs 17,000 from a contractor Madhu to clear his bills. Not interested in paying the bribe, the contractor approached ACB slueths, who hatched a plan and trapped the EE red-handed which accepting the amount from Madhu.

ACB DSP K Badraiah and others staff participated in the trap.
