PEDDAPALLI: Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths trapped Ramagundam Sub-Treasury Office Ekula Maheshwar and his sub-ordinate Reddaveni Pavan while accepting Rs 10,000 bribe from a retired teacher on Thursday.

According to ACB officials, a retired teacher Kannuri Ananda Rao approached the STO Maheshwar for the sanction of pension. However, STO demanded bribe to sanction the pension.


Not interested to give bribe, Ananda Rao approached ACB, who hatched a plan and trapped STO as well as Pavan while accepting Rs 10,000 from the victim in the office.
