Actor Anasuya Bharadwaj seems to have been upset with the way the results of the Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) have been announced.
Taking to her Twitter account on Monday, the actor said that she would never get involved in politics further. “With politics, you are not allowed to be honest. I don’t have time to deal with that. I would rather work with kids,” she wrote on Twitter.
It may be recalled that the ‘Rangasthalam’ actor was leading soon after the counting of votes began at 5 pm on Sunday.
The results on the television screens showed Anasuya from Prakash Raj’s panel was leading in the first hour.
At one point, she was declared the winner as an executive committee (EC) member. Other members like Siva Reddy, Kaushik, Suresh Kondeti too we’re declared winners.
In a series of tweets, Anasuya sought to know why there has been a delay in counting the votes. While they declared the winner yesterday, how could they say the members were defeated on the following day.
