Telugu character artist and comedian Sampoornesh Babu has extended a monetary help of Rs 25,000 to children who were orphaned after losing their parents during the Covid pandemic. The actor shared this on his Twitter page on Thursday.
“I was very much moved by hearing the tragic news of carpenter Narasimha Chary. Along with producer Sai Rajesh, I helped the two girls Gayatri (23) and Lakshmi Priya (13) with Rs 25,000. We’ve also assured them of bearing the expenses for their education,” he tweeted.
According to the details shared by the actor, Sangoju Narasimha Chary (50), a carpenter by profession committed suicide at his home in Chellapur village in Dubbaka after not finding work. Chary and his wife Devendra (45) had been struggling to run the family due to unavailability of work during the pandemic.
Chary had been borrowing money from his known circles to make the both ends meet. Recently, he along with his two daughters moved to Siddipet town searching for a new job. Depressed over not finding work, he returned to his village and hanged himself at his house where his wife Devendra hanged herself on May 1.
On the work front, the comedian is gearing up for yet another rib-tickling flick ‘Cauliflower’. Sharing the details of the movie, Sampoornesh Babu hinted that the movie is an unsung story of a well-known man. The entire shooting of ‘Cauliflower’ has been wrapped and the makers are planning to release the movie in theatres.
