Adilabad: Field Assistants working with the District Rural Development Organisation thanked to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for reinstating them. They performed ksheerabhisekam to a flex poster of Rao and then felicitated MLA Jogu Ramanna in his camp office here on Thursday.
Field Assistants Association state vice-president Sudhakar Reddy said that the Chief Minister’s announcement to reinstate them brought respite to them. He thanked Rao for making the decision. He requested the government to declare modalities of the announcement and to address other challenges of the assistants.
Ramanna said that Chandrasekhar Rao was striving hard for resolving major challenges of the staffers. He stated that Rao was leaving no stone unturned for the welfare of government employees. He added that the government had been employee-friendly and was always concerned for the field assistants and similar-level staffers.
District Central Cooperative Bank president Addi Bhoja Reddy, district presidents of Field Assistants Association Srihari, general secretary Mahender, treasurer Surender and many others were present.
