Adilabad’s Mukhra (K) Sarpanch extends KCR kits to new mothers
Sarpanch Gadge Meenakshi distributed KCR kits to 24 new mothers in Mukhra (K), Adilabad, on K.T. Rama Rao’s birthday. She criticized the Congress government for scrapping the scheme and vowed to continue the initiative independently.

Adilabad: Sarpanch Gadge Meenakshi set an example to others by distributing KCR kits to 24 new mothers as part of the ‘Gift of a smile’ to mark birthday of BRS working president KT Rama Rao at model village Mukhra (K) in Echoda mandal on Sunday.
Meenakshi said that the then Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao introduced the novel scheme and extended the kits to new mothers considering the phase on humanitarian grounds.

The kits used to contain all required ingredients for women. However, the present Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy duped the women by scrapping the initiative, she remarked.
Sarpanch further said that Mukhra (K) saw 24 deliveries in the rule of the Congress for the past 18 months. She stated that she came forward to give away the kits to remind the greatness of the scheme and help the women in accessing the ingredients. She vowed to continue the initiative from now onwards.
