AGORC edge Heroes Club to reach Bolarum Challenge Cup semi-finals
AGORC secured a place in the semi-finals of the Bolarum Challenge Cup football tournament with a 1-0 victory over Heroes Club. Saif scored the decisive goal in the 79th minute and was named Player of the Match for his match-winning effort

Hyderabad: AGORC entered the semi-finals with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Heroes Club in the first quarter-final of the Bolarum Challenge Cup football tournament, organised by Bolarum Sporting Club, at Bolarum Ground here on Monday.
AGORC dominated the first half and created several scoring opportunities. In the 15th minute, Aman of AGORC came close to opening the scoring, but the Heroes Club goalkeeper produced a brilliant save. Later, in the 25th minute, Joshua had a good chance to score, but his shot went wide of the goalpost.
The second half was equally competitive. In the 65th minute, Vikas of AGORC got a good opportunity but failed to convert. As the match progressed, both teams fought hard for the breakthrough.
The decisive moment came in the 79th minute when Saif scored a spectacular goal from approximately 25 yards out, giving AGORC a 1-0 lead.
Heroes Club tried to find an equaliser in the closing minutes, but AGORC held firm to secure the victory.
Saif was named Player of the Match.
