AIC-CCMB to host workshop on ICE Cloud for life sciences researchers on Sep 24
AIC-CCMB, in collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology, is organising a specialised workshop on ICE Cloud, a container-based computing platform tailored for life sciences research. The event is being held at CCMB Annex, Hyderabad on September 24.

Hyderabad: Atal Incubation Centre (AIC)-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) in collaboration with Department of Biotechnology is organising a workshop on ‘ICE Cloud-Integrated Computing Environment for Life Sciences’ at CCMB Annex, Genpact Road, IDA Uppal, Habsiguda on September 24.
The workshop is ideal for research fellows, early career researchers, startup professionals and scientists who are working with national research laboratories and are involved in generating/analysing omics datasets and molecular modelling studies.
The agenda of the workshop includes various features of ICECloud, which will be explained through presentation and hands-on tutorials.
The special workshop will be conducted by HPC-Medical and Bioinformatics Applications Group, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Pune.
ICE Cloud is an indigenously developed container-based cloud environment designed to cater to the evolving needs of researchers and scientific communities, the AIC CCMB said.
