Hyderabad: All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen, President and Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi asked the State government to drop the proposal for shifting Society for Employment Promotion & Training in Twin Cities (SETWIN) institute from Purani Haveli, to any other location.
Asaduddin Owaisi, in a letter to the Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, said that SETWIN has been functioning at the Purani Haveli premises since its inception and has become a vital institutional interface for skill development, employment promotion, and welfare-oriented initiatives.
“The location has attained permanence in public perception and continues to serve as the most accessible and appropriate site for intended beneficiaries. Any proposal to shift the SETWIN office from Purani Haveli is likely to adversely impact accessibility and service delivery, thereby diluting the very objectives for which SETWIN was established,” he stated.
The State government had recently issued orders asking all government offices functioning from private buildings to shift to government owned properties.
