Alprazolam, diazepam seized in Telangana’s Sangareddy; two drug peddlers arrested

Sangareddy: Excise officials seized 503 grams of alprazolam and 17 grams of diazepam from two persons while they were transporting them in a RTC bus at Doulthabad bus station in Sangareddy on Wednesday.
According to Excise Officer Srinivas Rao, accused B Raju Goud, a native of Medak; and S Narsa Goud, a native of Siddipet; had purchased the drugs in Solapur of Maharashtra.
Acting on a tipoff, the excise officials stopped the bus at Doulthabad and seized alprazolam and diazepam from them.
The officials also seized three mobile phones from them.
